NEXT MEETING......Monday 7th January If you were at our last session then you might be a bit confused as to when we meet next! Sorry about that! We do indeed meet on the first Monday of 2019 when we welcome back our guest speaker, Peter Rocchiccioli, for what promises to be a fascinating talk about his journey to better photography. Hope to see you then. In the meantime we wish you all a... Merry Christmas & Snappy New Year! PS The website may be a little quiet over the festivities while we unwrap and play with all those lovely camera accessories that we hope Santa is bringing! Older news......

HILARIOUS! 3rd December: What a great evening in the company of fellow photographers from Bognor and Littlehampton Camera Clubs at our annual Mix & Match Competition. Competition was tough, strongly challenged (for that, read 'heckled') and our judge for the evening, John Lynch, did a cracking job at keeping some sort of order. A really good fun evening for the run into the festive season (oh, and did I mention, we WON). Thanks everyone for getting 'stuck in' and making for a really enjoyable evening. And, Club Members - time to store up those quirky (a.k.a. downright weird) images for next year! The MONK
by Zelinda de Cruz If you were inspired by Zz's winning image in the last print competition, you might enjoy the information she has put together outlining the village, the people and, most importantly, how she nailed this beautiful shot. Head over to the Competitions Page to find out more about her inspiring journey and maybe get some ideas for a new hair cut :) |
Fancy a good night out?
I know it's a bit early, but the tickets are likely to sell out. Maybe a nice Christmas prezzie? Get out of the Spring cold and enjoy a visit to the Alexandra Theatre - feel the heat of the tropics with Barry Manilow's musical spectacular 'COPACABANA'! These shows, put on by the Uni Musical Theatre Group, are highly professional and sure to be entertaining. Raising funds for 4Sight. Monday 26th November
Our second Camera Craft Workshop was filled to capacity on Monday evening. Everyone got stuck in with a range of exercises focussed ('scuse the pun) on controlling light, aiming for either for the perfect exposure or for creative effect.
Besides the main activity, this was a perfect venue for sharing tips and exchanging ideas. Keep an eye out dates for January - the series will continue. |
