Middleton, Selsey & Witterings Camera Clubs compete each year for the MSW Shield.
After several years in the wilderness, we returned to form in 2016 and made 2018 our 'hat trick' year. As always, it was a very tight contest with the leadership changing several times during the competition. It was, in fact, up to the wire until right at the end. We had two images held back and it was these two images, each scoring 20 points, that elevated us in top spot in the final reckoning. But, of course, the contribution of all the other entries created the perfect platform for success.
Thanks to John Connor and his selection panel for a job well done!
Top scores: Reed Warbler by Joe Startup (20) and Little Baby Owl (20) by Marion Sweeney.
Of interest, 'Walking on Water' by Andrew Worsfold (top middle) was taken using an Olympus Trip film camera using its double exposure function - now there's a blast from the past that many of us will remember!
