JOHN CONNORI took an interest in photography in the early years of this millenium when I purchased a compact camera - Pentax Optio 750Z. I joined Bognor Camera Club in 2010 and entered the Enprint Competitions. I was lucky enough to win this competition with the photos taken on my Pentax in my first year of competition. Early this summer (2011) I purchased a Sony NEX5 and use this camera in all modes - from fully automatic to entirely manual - as I feel appropriate for the situation. The photos in this gallery, taken one per day in one week this autumn, are mostly taken in "Intelligent Auto" mode. The night picture of Bognor Pier (adjacent) was taken in manual and hand held - the ISO was set to the most sensitive available (12800) the aperture to f4 and the shutter speed to1/30. The lighting has been adjusted in Photo-shop in all the pictures and they have all suffered a degree of cropping. Click on the images below to enlarge and view the shots. |
