Chris Haines
My main interest is bird photography, hence all the photos of birds in my gallery. The equipment I use is a Canon 7D mark 2, with a Sigma contemporary 150-600, which, with the APS sensor, gives me 960mm and I find this is quite good for the smaller birds. I always use an aperture priority and, since I have had my camera calibrated, the aperture I use is F8 at an ISO 1640-2000. Under normal circumstances is quite adequate and will normally give me a shutter speed of over 1200, which freezes the image quite well. Should anybody wish to contact me and go to the Wetlands and exchange ideas and experiences I would welcome your company, you never know we both might learn something. Always take photos that you enjoy and not what the judges like. Happy hunting! |
