Dreamlike quality of inverted wheelie bins!

AIMS

Apparatus: Canon G12

Inspiration: A trip to Central Park, New York....sadly looking for bins!   Because of an upcoming event there were about 30 wheelie bins, upside down and waiting for placement.....just had to be done.  

Manipulation: Trying to do something at least a little bit creative (to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear!!!), the image was simply cropped, posterised (single click in Photoshop) and sharpened.

Apparatus: 
  • Lumix G3
  • 14-25mm lens
  • Aperture F16
  • Shutter speed 0.5s
  • Exposure bias = 3 stops

Inspiration:  This was of course the Fairies' house at the end of my garden.
 
Manipulation: The Fairies were there, so I took them.  (I also have Elements 8 )
